L'Ombre dans L’Eau is an invitation to a stroll through a picturesque garden in the early
morning. Our gaze falls on an old wall almost completely hidden by a tangle of aromatic ivy and
currant bushes, thick with the fragrant smell of leaves and berries. In the shadow of a hidden arbor,
amidst white marble Greek and Roman statues, grow vigorous bergamot and tangerine trees,
filling the air with the pungent aroma of citrus and bitter green foliage. The combined aromas are
breathtaking in their natural vividness, and one gets the impression of having just crushed leaves
and stems between one’s fingers
