STORY
The court of King Louis Xv is the inspiration for Parfums de Marly as the company seeks
to reconnect with the fragrances from the 18th century. The business’s name is inspired by a
sculpture called The Marly Horses. Julien Sprecher started the company, and from an early age he
expressed an interest in perfumery. Before he began his own business venture, he worked for his
family selling fragrances in Asia and the Middle East.
