Empressa by Penhaligon's is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women. Empressa
was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Christian Provenzano. Top notes are
blood orange, bergamot, mandarin orange, peach and pink pepper; middle notes are rose,
geranium, neroli, dewberry and cassis; base notes are vanilla, cacao, olibanum, amber, musk,
patchouli, sandalwood and brown sugar.

STORY
A luxurious fruity chypre fragrance opening with subtle citrus top notes of blood orange,
bergamot and mandarin. A rich fruity floral heart combines peach, cassis and a nuance of
dewberry with increased floral notes of rose, neroli and geranium whilst exotic spices including
cardamom, pink and black pepper giving depth and sensuality. Luxurious undertones of vanilla
pod, cocoa, frankincense, amber and precious musk are entwined with aromatic woody nuances of
patchouli and sandalwood and rounded off with sweet sugary maltol.
